MS Sandnes var i perioden 1950-1974 eit kystruteskip som høyrde til Sandnæs Dampskibs-Aktieselskab (SBA), og som gjekk fast i nattruten Sandnes/Stavanger-Haugesund-Bergen.

Torild Lura, som er leiar for venneforeininga Nattrutens venner, kjem til oss på biblioteket for å fortelje historia om det kjente, lokale skipet.
