It is a beautiful, vibrant and colorful retreat that has served as the home for spiritual work for decades. My first retreat at the Dreaming House was in 2008, and I have returned a dozen times to realign my spirit and charge my heart, and it feels like home.Within its spacious compound are rooms decorated with the art of Mexico’s past, both recent and distant. Floors and bathrooms feature ceramic tile and many unique wall murals and pictures add to the gracious, family atmosphere. This is not an upscale Tulum retreat but a cozy yet rustic environment held with personal care and a devotion to grounded self-awakening.Mexican country meals are prepared with skill and love in the spacious dining hall. Two meals (breakfast and early supper) are served family style, with a light evening snack as well. Bottled water and tea are always available.
