Please plan accordingly to honor and be in the container for the full duration of the facilitated event. The Benefits of SoundSound has been used as a tool for healing and altered states across cultures for thousands of years — and modern research is catching up:Sustained tones from gong, singing bowls, and chimes activate the vagus nerve and shift the body into parasympathetic "rest and restore" mode.Research has found that singing bowl sound meditation produces measurable reductions in tension, anxiety, and depressed mood, with related studies pointing to shifts in cortisol, blood pressure, and heart rate variability.Brainwave activity moves from the alert beta state into slower alpha and theta waves – the same states associated with deep meditation, where the nervous system does its repair. The gong carries its own, deeper signature within all of this. Its low-frequency, high-amplitude waves are something you feel – the body is roughly 70% water, and sound travels through water far more efficiently than through air, which is part of why a gong's vibration reaches so directly into tissue, organs, and bone. The gong's sustained, repetitive strike is also where brainwave entrainment does its clearest work – the brain's electrical activity synchronizes with the rhythm in the room, easing brain waves down into alpha and theta states.Your FacilitatorsDalai Grace and Sebastian co-create and facilitate sacred ceremonies with sound, meditation, NLP, and plants.
