Ariel performs regularly as a recitalist throughout the US and Europe. A top prize winner of many key youth competitions in the SF Bay and recipient of an “Emerging Artist Grant” from the Berkeley Piano Club, Ariel performed as a soloist with several Bay area orchestras, was the concertmaster of YPSO and the Bay Area Youth Orchestra Festival and participated in theMusic@Menlo, Bowdoin and YCM Chamber music programs.Markus Pawlik embarked on an international career after winning the grand prize of the Eurovision “Young Musician of the Year” competition in 1982, and has since performed as a recitalist, soloist and chamber musician throughout Europe, Asia and North America. He has collaborated as a chamber musician internationally, made numerous recordings and produced a documentary film which he presented at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. Pawlik has given international master classes, taught as guest lecturer at UCLA, runs a piano studio and is on the Music Advisory Board of Las Positas College.
