Our Intermediate Classes are here!A beginner class is required before attending an Intermediate Class, as we do not cover basic decorating techniques during this workshop. In this 1.5-2 hour class, we'll focus on intermediate piping techniques with royal icing, decorating strategies, layering, dimension, and the best approaches for creating polished, professional-looking cookies.Everything you'll need is provided, including cookies, icing, decorating tools, and a live in-person instructor. Just bring a smile (and maybe an apron)!"Cherry-ish" some creative time with a friend and join us for this berry cute cookie decorating class. We'll be decorating six cherry-themed cookies using five icing colors and seven icing bags while practicing techniques designed to help you build confidence and refine your decorating skills.More details on refunds, things to bring, cancelations, and FAQs are below - looking forward to having you with us.This class is for the intermediate cookier! We will not be covering basic cookie decorating techniques in this class, and no exceptions will be made for beginners. We strongly encourage anyone new to cookie decorating to attend one of our beginner classes before registering for this workshop.This class is on 7/27 and started at 5:30pm- 7:30pm sharp so we can have enough time to decorate and answer along the way. Come by yourself, bring your best friend, or bring the family. It's a blast whether you're coming with a friend, family member, or solo!This class is good for ages 13+, but if you'd like to leave the kiddos at home, purchase an add-on kit (more on that below)! The kits are great for kids at home, plus - we'll send you the class PowerPoint so you can teach them yourself!The class will be held at the Marin Cake Studio in San Rafael, CA located at 1545 4th Street, Suite C. There is on street parking with a meter or side street with free parking.Wondering what you need to bring to have a successful time decorating? Well – nothing’s required – but here’s the things we recommend if you’d like to elevate your experience!Bring an apron! Things can get messy when you’re workin’ with royal icing – so grab an apron (bonus points if it’s cute – I’ll definitely be asking where you got it).Bring your glasses! There’s a reference slide deck to help you decorate, but if things get blurry far away, seeing glasses may be a great bet.Bring your phone! I love it when students take pictures throughout class – so bring a phone!Bring a mask if you’d like! These classes follow the state health guidelines, but if you’d like to wear a mask throughout class – please do!Bring a good attitude! Cookies are fun, but they're also challenging! A good attitude makes all the differenceDIY Add-on KitsOrder your sugar cookie class kit and take the class home with you to teach a child or friend! These class kits come with everything you'll use in class, and a quick reference guide on the steps we took to decorate the cookies in class.How long can a kit last? Depending on how you store your icing, your kits can last for a week or longer. Freezing cookies keep them fresh for a long time, but I recommend using your kit as soon as possible - ideally in the first week after you've taken it home.
