Disaster Prep Day

San Mateo County residents are invited to the County’s 21st Annual Disaster Preparedness Day on Saturday, Aug. 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the San Mateo County Event Center to learn how to protect themselves and their family before disaster strikes.

This FREE, family-friendly event features CPR classes, emergency training, hands-on demos, fun activities for kids, and free hot dogs. Classes in English, Spanish and Mandarin ensure everyone can gain life-saving skills in preparing for emergencies like earthquakes, wildfire and tsunamis.

No registration required; parking is free.
