# Event Details - **Event Name**: Coyote Point Meadow Restoration Volunteer Event - **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 29 Nov, 2025 at 09:00 am – Sat, 29 Nov, 2025 at 12:00 pm - **Event Description**: Help San Mateo County Maintain Butterfly and Pollinator Habitat!About this EventJoin us the Saturday after Thanksgiving, November 29, as we work to maintain and improve our butterfly and pollinator meadow.Nestled between San Mateo and Burlingame, Coyote Point Park boasts picnic areas, a small beach, a marina, and even a children's museum.LOGISTICS AND ACCESSIBILITY :The area is mostly level and we will be bending and kneeling as we use small garden tools to remove weeds. We will provide tools, gloves, and kneelers.We ask that you wear closed-toed shoes and comfortable clothing you don't mind getting dirty for your protection and comfort.Sunscreen, snacks, hats, and layers are also great to have on hand in case the weather gets warm or cold. If weather conditions are deemed too extreme, this event will be canceled and we will reach out to participants by email.There are restrooms and water near our restoration site, but we still recommend that you bring a personal water bottle for each member of your group.A reminder email with more detailed instructions on the day's activities and where to meet will also be sent in advance of the event.
