- **Event Description**: Starting Thursday June 5, the San Marcos Runners Club weekly Thursday night run will move to Plaza Park (instead of our usual meetup at Zelick's) to coincide with the San Marcos Summer in the Park concert series!  Same time, different place—look for the San Marcos Runners Club flag at Plaza Park, to stake out a spot for the concert and drop our chairs/blankets/coolers, then at 6:30 pm we will run 3 miles or walk ~30 minutes along the river (you also can do more or less distance/time). Afterwards, you can take a dip in the cool waters to refresh, and then hang out to enjoy the concert. Music begins at 7:30 pm. This is a picnic atmosphere, so you are welcome to bring food and your favorite beverages (alcohol is allowed within the park area). Concerts run weekly through August 14.
