Leo Carrillo Ranch Park, Carlsbad. 6200 Flying Leo Carrillo Lane

Please join me in beautiful Leo Carrillo Ranch, in Carlsbad on Saturday, August 2 at 9:00 am. Since the gates open at 9 - our walk will begin at 9:15. There are 2 large free parking lots right next to each other close to the entry gate. Parking should not be a problem.

Meet at the large "Welcome - Bienvenido" sign next to the "lower" parking lot. (see picture above)

There are several trails that lead from Leo Carrillo Park, and I will scout them out and update this post before the hike. I will likely keep the walk/hike to 3 miles or less, but we have the option of having a guided tour of Leo Carrillo Park that will add another hour, if we want.

There are plenty of picnic tables and picnic areas at the park. Please either bring your own food or bring something to share. It is really a beautiful place to have a picnic.
