Join us on Sunday, December 7th, at 11AM for ecstatic dancing!
We will open our dance with 15 minutes of guided movement inspired by Contact Improv to activate our collective, led by Adam Clark, followed by ecstatic dancing to music created by world-travelling DJ Spice Traders. We will close our container with sound healing by Jamie Nicole. We hope to see you on the dance floor!

🦋Spice Traders is a multi-instrumentalist weaving sonic tapestries that transport dancers to otherworldly realms. Spice Traders fuses an experimental approach with complex rhythms, ethereal vocals, and organic instrumentation. The result is a transformative journey to connect with music's beauty on a soulful level. Spice Traders creates musical journeys in partnership with music by Porangui, Liquid Bloom, Taz Rashid, and more!
🦋Jamie Nicole is a heart-led sound healer and meditation teacher who creates soothing environments where others can replenish their nervous system, welcome peace and wholeness, release stress, and strengthen their inner resilience.
🦋Adam Clark is committed to creating sacred and inclusive spaces for both individual and collective transformation. Adam embraces ancestral wisdom and spiritual practices as essential threads in community healing. Through radical self-expression and mindful space-holding, he guides individuals and communities toward reclaiming their inherent oneness and true wholeness.
ADMISSION:
($10 - $20 suggested donation at the doors) can be made with cash, Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle.
GUIDELINES:
1. RESPONSIBLE: You can dance alone or
with partners. Consent is the priority; honor the experience of others with spaciousness and engage a dancer only after receiving a clear yes. If you'd like not to engage, please feel free to bow out.
2. RESPECT: No shoes on the dance floor
3. CONSCIOUSNESS: Drug-free and alcohol-free environment
4. SACRED SPACE: No photos or videos, cellphones muted
5. PEACE: No talking on the dance floor
6. EXPRESSION: Dancers are required to remain fully clothed throughout the dance. You may get sweaty, so please arrive appropriately dressed. We have AC!

Ecstatic Dance SLO is every 1st and 3rd Sunday at 11am. Located at Nexus Ballroom inside the SLO Public Market at 3845 S. Higuera St. (lower level), with free on-site parking!
Ecstatic Dance SLO is a community gathering for people who want to express themselves in a playful, artistic, and sacred space with other people who value conscious connection, movement, and great music!
We hold a nonverbal, shoe-free, substance-use-free, and judgment-free container to keep the journey playful, sacred, and lucid. The experience is curated for you to let loose, commune with your body, and connect with others in a vibrant setting. We invite you to dance the morning away and walk out into the world empowered to engage your wildest dreams!
We invite participants to utilize the Ecstatic Dance space as a laboratory for creative movement, self-expression, authentic connections, and a healthy dose of sweat. We're invested in facilitating space for the Ecstatic Dance community to thrive.
Ecstatic Dance SLO is conveniently located in the SLO Public Market, with many eateries to choose from. We encourage you to invite a new or old friend for a juice or lunch after the dance.
