Darcie will share information about the life-saving programs and services Latinas Contra Cancer offers to women and families.Ruth Silver TaubeSupervising Attorney of the Worker’s Rights Practice at the Katharine &amp; George Alexander Community Law Center at Santa Clara University School of Law and the Santa Clara County OLSE Legal Advice Line. Ruth Silver Taube is a leader in the fight for worker protections. She serves as Legal Services Provider Co-Chair of the South Bay Coalition to End Human Trafficking, is a delegate to the Santa Clara County Human Trafficking Commission, and coordinates the Santa Clara County Wage Theft Coalition. Ruth will discuss maternity leave and sick leave protections, emphasizing that these benefits apply regardless of immigration status.Dianna Zamora-MarroquinSenior Director of Public Affairs for Planned Parenthood Mar Monte. Dianna Zamora-Marroquin leads legislative lobbying, community engagement, grassroots advocacy, and media affairs. Her work has secured millions of dollars to expand reproductive healthcare and passed legislation that directly protects patients and improves quality of care. Dianna also serves as President of the Latina Coalition Silicon Valley, sits on the San Jose Spotlight Community Advisory Board, and is a board member of Democratic Activists for Women Now (DAWN).
