Food forests are gardening systems designed to function as sustainable forest ecosystems by integrating various edible plants, shrubs, and trees. Help us get one step closer to that goal with a day of mulching and other tasks, as needed. You'll get the chance to get your hands dirty while learning about basic water conservation and fruit tree health.All volunteers must sign-in upon arriving to the farm, which includes a liability waiver. You must be age 13 or older to volunteer on the farm. Middle and High School students, ages 13 to 17, MUST be accompanied by a parent/guardian/chaperone.*Note on Weather: In the event we need to cancel a volunteer event due to extreme weather, we will notify you via email, otherwise please assume we will hold volunteer events rain or shine, and dress accordingly.*Note on Volunteer Hours: We are happy to sign off on hours if you need them, however, we ask that you please provide your own form or letter for us to sign.
