- **Event Description**: You are invited to explore grief through collage-making. We will create visual representations of how grief feels when words aren’t enough.About this EventWhat color is your grief?Grief doesn’t always have words. It can live in our bodies, memories and the space between what was and what comes next. In this hands-on creative workshop, we’ll explore grief through color, imagery, and collage-making.During this workshop, participants are invited to slow down, reflect, and sit with their feelings. Using mixed media materials, we will create space to express the parts of grief that can be difficult to put into words. No art experience is necessary. There is no right way to grieve, nor is there a right way to collage! Come as you are. Make what you need.Co-facilitated by death care professional/grief ritualist/grief educator Alexis Hart and Tricia Creason-Valencia, artist/educator/Creative Ambassador for the City of San José.Free and open to all. This workshop is part of Tricia Creason-Valencia's "I Am/We Are" Creative Ambassador Project for the City of San José.
