D6 CERT - WELCOME!!! + Monthly Meeting July 26, 2025 7:00pm

This Thursday, June 26 we will be holding our monthly San José District 6 CERT meeting starting at 7:00p at the Downtown Fire Museum. Parking is limited to the rear parking lot accessible from North San Pedro St and please enter through the doorway in the back of the fire museum. The big topic for this month is our D6 CERT tabling event Friday, July 4 at the Rose White and Blue Parade right in our D6 backyard. We have a few volunteers, and we could use more to help fill gaps as needed. There is still time to volunteer so please plan on attending Thursday for more information.

The training portion of this month's meeting will be our annual CERT backpack check, and please bring in your CERT backpack so we can do the grand reveal, check contents for expiration dates, and to see what others have added to their CERT backpacks especially as a new CERT graduate to gain insight and guidance as you build out your CERT backpack.

We are looking at some social media platforms, centralized online platforms, and we plan on discussing and finalizing that some more.

Finally, Jim Carter our Chair will speak to and about Fireworks Prevention Outreach.
