Has it been awhile since you’ve gotten on your bike and you’re itching to get back in the saddle?Then you’re a perfect fit for SVBC’s Biking Basics On-Bike class!This class is a 3-hour outdoor workshop where you will learn and practice bike handling skills and navigating situations you'll encounter biking on the road. You will work in small groups with our certified League Cycling Instructors (LCI) to improve your bicycling skills, keep you safe, and keep you pedaling! This class is a must for folks who are newer to bicycling or who have some experience and are looking to gain more confidence. It is ideal for folks who already know how to balance and pedal but who may not be ready for our more advanced Smart Cycling Part 2 class. Beginner to intermediate riders and commuters are encouraged to attend! You’ll learn things like:Helmet fittingStarting and stoppingSignaling with hand signalsBasic rules of the roadHow to navigate roads by bikeThe class is held outdoors in the Berryessa Transit Center Parking lot at https://goo.gl/maps/fVTKaVZgM8XuTYHd6 .
