This competition gives parents valuable insight into their child’s English strengths, learning gaps, and readiness for future academic success, while encouraging students to build confidence in vocabulary, reading, and language arts.EligibilityThe competitions are open to all students entering Grades 2–10 in Fall 2026, regardless of whether they are currently enrolled in Afficient Academy programs.RegistrationRegistration is free.Estimated Test Duration20–60 minutes per studentCompetition CategoriesGrade-Level VocabularyGrade-Level Language ArtsCompetition FormatThe competitions will be conducted using the Afficient English Diagnostic Tests.The tests are computer-adaptive and adjust to each student's performance level.Each student will begin at their most recently completed school grade level.Students who demonstrate strong performance will advance to higher grade levels until they reach a grade at which they can no longer maintain strong performance.Winning CriteriaStudents will compete against peers in the same school grade.
