I started making art for my own mental health, and it became a way to process feelings, comfort my inner child, and create something gentle out of something painful. During the pandemic - I started sharing that art with SF. Through my work, aka Ian the Meow, I focus on positive affirmations, cats, and reminders to treat ourselves with more kindness. Art is for everyone. We don’t have to sell it or show it to anyone for it to matter. Sometimes art is just a quiet, personal way to heal the parts of us that need care.Mental health is for everyone, and it’s just as important as physical health.
