This class is open to all levels, and modifications will be provided. The overall goals of this workshop is to understand the culture and fundamentals of House dance, and gain freestyle skills that can be used wherever you like to dance! The class will begin with a warmup, followed by across the floor drills, and concluding with a short combo. Come as you are, and check your body at the door!Suggested Wardrobe:Baggy or fitted tee shirt with baggy sweats or athletic pants.Class Details:Date/Time: Saturday, June 20th | 2:00 - 4:00PMTicket Options:$35 General Admission$25 Member's DiscountRegistration is required for this event. She primarily trains in House, Hip-Hop, Waacking, but has also trained in Locking and Popping. Prior to moving to Denver, she was a member and outreach coordinator for Str8jacket, and taught at several studios around the Bay Area. She has also performed across the United States and has competed in battles in California, Colorado, and Amsterdam. She currently teaches House at Mi Chantli in Boulder, CO, and is pursuing her PhD in Climate & Human Health. Lexi's mission as an instructor is to help people find confidence and joy through dance.
