Founded in 2000 by musician Eric Shea, this sometimes annual tribute to Gram Parsons has endured through the City's many changes.
Each event pulls California musicians together to perform the cosmic American music that Parsons wrote and played in his short but impactful lifetime.
Every year raises funds and awareness for a different beneficiary - this year's Sleepless Nights benefits Nuçi's Space [
https://www.nuci.org ], a nonprofit based in Athens, GA whose mission is to prevent suicide. With an emphasis on the mental health of musicians, Nuçi’s Space advocates for and helps to alleviate the suffering for those living with a brain illness and fights to end the stigma of mental illness.
