Don’t overthink it, just show up.About The Musicians -OONA GARTHWAITE…Grew up on a dirt road in rural Northern California, writing songs as a way to make sense of the world, then moved to Los Angeles at 17 to attend UCLA on a mix of scholarships and student loans. After graduating, Oona paid her bills working in documentary film and public access TV while she continued to write and produce her own music.She spent her 20s performing up and down the West Coast, building a reputation as a standout songwriter and performer — and navigating the often predatory churn of the commercial entertainment business. Along the way, she experienced what she would later realize was textbook sexual and intimate partner violence.Oona sought treatment for PTSD in 2021, and came out of it with newfound strength, self-compassion — and a desire to tell the stories she needed to hear as a younger person. She began writing and producing her own films later that year. He doesn’t do social media (except radio interviews) and divulges government secrets for bitcoin and is bullish about the future of sports gambling.
