This is the fourth and final event in this year's series of parent workshops.To parent and honestly and mindfully means that we commit to being aware of our own thoughts, beliefs and actions and parent from facts: who we are, who our children are, and from our value and goals. As a result of removing fear and fantasy from our parenting we become more able to accurately, lovingly guide, empower, and protect our children and give them the skills to create and participate in a world we want to exist. This workshop will offer you tools and questions so that you may mindfully, responsively, respectfully, be in the presence of children… and in doing so, change the world!About Darcy CampbellDarcy has 40 years of experience working with teachers, schools, families and children in the Bay Area and around the world. She is a strong advocate for children and specializes in reflective, responsive, collaborative teaching and parenting practices. Darcy was the founder and Executive Director of an inquiry based school in San Francisco, Cypress School of San Francisco (formerly known as Cow Hollow School) for 23 years and an adjunct professor of elementary and early childhood education at San Francisco State University for 18 years. Darcy is the co-founder of REAL Parenting and Teaching and founder of Darcy Campbell Coaching.
