Herbal Medicine Making Circle in SF Garden with Wild Nutritive Nettle

This experiential and hands-on gathering is for those who’d like to learn more about the wisdom, plant and healing properties of working with herbs, flowers, trees and wild medicinal plants in-person in a community garden.

We’ll come together in one of San Francisco’s lovely community gardens, and work with Wild Nettle, which is one of the most nutrient dense plants we can consume filled with lots of iron, vitamins and minerals for bone and skin health, immunity, allergy support and more. Wild Nettle grows abundantly in San Francisco, and I will show you how to locate and properly identify this herb, and together we will make some delicious and supportive remedies with this amazing plant.You’ll leave this class feeling inspired, even more connected to the natural world and the healing properties of our “green allies.” In this session you'll get to take home an herbal remedy that we made together.

Note : This class will be outdoors at the White Crane Springs community garden in the Inner Sunset, so please make sure to dress accordingly with warm and cool layers as we know the weather can shift easily in the Bay Area.

This class is open to those who are curious, and want to deepen in their awareness of working with the medicine of the “green realm” in a very hands-on and experiential way.

NOTE : Herbalism doesn’t have to be put in the place of either or - working with plants can support anything else you are doing to support your system and overall health. All of our ancestors at some point had a deep connection to the land, to the herbs and plants or green realm, to the animals and waters in order to survive. This connection to our roots and deeper belonging was severed, and it is time to reclaim the wisdom we all long for again.
