Since its founding in 1983 as the first sober social space in the Castro, the Club has evolved into a vital lifeline for LGBTQ+ folks in recovery—a refuge offering 40 + weekly recovery meetings and welcoming over 40,000 visits a year.
Your gala ticket funds essential programs: workforce development, community arts, and peer-led events like the sober drag show (“Mascara”) that foster healing through creativity. It helps underwrite the café, meeting space, and skill-building services that empower attendees to rebuild lives with dignity.
