Described by Blank Magazine as “a songwriter who doesn’t mess with her words,” Essie has been a fixture on Australian festival stages since the early 2000s, touring extensively across Australia and Canada.

Lauren Tannenbaum has been writing and singing to make sense of the world since she can remember. Inspired by the lyrical craft of 1970s folk singers and packing a punch of mid-90s nostalgia, her music is an ongoing exploration of what it means to be a human in this bizarre, beautiful world. Through her artistry, she hopes to heal, change paradigms, and remind her listeners that we are all in it together.

Los Angeles-based Cellista is a composer and aerialist specializing in static trapeze.
She creates stage poems (narrative multimedia works) after those of the artist Jean Cocteau, which juxtapose seemingly disparate elements.
Her stage poems are acts of resistance art; investigating the ruptures of daily life. They are politically concerned, observant, and revealing; breaking down the borders between audiences and performers, disciplines, and genres.
