In this upbeat, interactive hour, Midori—internationally known educator, provocateur, and founder of the infamous ForteFemme Women’s Dominance Intensive—shares real-life confidence tools borrowed from the world of kink (minus the ropes and dungeon).

No kink experience? No problem. This isn’t about playtime—it’s about pulling brilliant tactics from the kinky toolbox to boost your boldness, sharpen your boundaries, and help you walk through the world with more presence, joy, and strut.

Midori (she/her) is an educator, artist, and whip-smart provocateur who’s been transforming how we think about kink, consent, and connection for over 30 years. Born in Japan and beautifully forged in the fires of 1990s queer San Francisco, she brings a multicultural lens to everything from Shibari to power dynamics to playful negotiation.

She’s the founder of ForteFemme Women’s Dominance Intensive, Consent Dojo, and Rope Dojo—spaces where curiosity meets courage and learners leave empowered. As Co-director of Education for the Kink Informed Certification through the Sexual Health Alliance, she helps therapists and institutions get wise about kink and consent.

Author of The Seductive Art of Japanese Bondage, among other books, and a contributor to both academic texts and cultural conversations, Midori bridges worlds—from clinicians to kinksters, and everyone in between.
