Residents now collectively govern and operate it as a self-managed housing cooperative, with SFCLT holding the land in trust for long-term affordability. Stop 2: ""The Pigeon Palace"" - SFCLT outbid five speculators at public auction to preserve this building for its longtime residents. Through a partnership with the City's Small Sites Program and Boston Private Bank, the building was rehabilitated and kept permanently affordable.
