Lisa Chesser-Nielsen, MSRS, RT(R)(M) began her journey at a community college in Iowa before earning a Bachelor's in Health Sciences from Brigham Young University and completing the Radiology program at the University of Iowa, passing the board exam in 1993. With extensive experience in hospitals, clinics, and urgent care centers—and cross-training in Mammography and CT—she later earned a Master of Science in Radiologic Sciences from Weber State University. Now a full-time professor at Foothill College in California, she continues to stay connected to clinical practice by working shifts in Salt Lake City whenever possible.
