History at Night: Velasco at the Time of the Revolution

Please join us for the final installment of our Fall History at Night series: Velasco at the Time of the Revolution!

You may know Velasco as the site of the Battle of Velasco in 1832; a prelude to the eventual Texas Revolution. But why else is this town significant? Join Freeport Historical Museum's Museum Director, Wade Dillon, as he uncovers the fascinating story of this town.

The program begins at 6pm on Thursday, December 4th. Admission is free of charge and light refreshments will be provided!
