I am not a therapist; however, this practice has helped me navigate the grief of my father's passing. I'd love to share it with you if it might bring even just a little moment of relief. This session is designed to help you slow down, release stress, and ground- all within a space that honors creativity, culture, and collective care- an art gallery! This class is open to all levels. No experience is necessary. What to Expect:Breathwork- About 15 minutes of calming breathwork to regulate your nervous system and ground.Yin Yoga- Yin is a slow form of yoga where we will hold about 5-6 postures for about 4 minutes! It's a deep stretch that works into your fascia to release tension, stress, and stagnant energy.A quiet space to reflect, reset, and soften.Journaling, tea, and sharing (if you want)- The last 30 minutes of class is an offering to stay with it. Instead of getting up right after practice and continuing on your day, have some tea, sit with your feelings, journal some thoughts, and share with this collective space if you are open to it. Make sure to bring:A yoga mat ( I have a few I can loan)Comfortable clothesWaterA mug for tea! Optional: any props that can help you feel more comfortable. A pillow, blanket, bolster, block, etc.By registering for and attending Sunday Soothe, you acknowledge and agree to the following:I understand that yoga, breathwork, and any movement-based practices involve physical activity and carry some inherent risk.
