Led by Gerry Widmer—former CEO, startup operator, and advisor—this session shares actionable frameworks and real-world examples that demonstrate why doing less, with greater intention, often creates better business outcomes.Topics Covered:Strategic subtraction and focused executionAvoiding feature and operational overloadManaging time, priorities, and founder bandwidthThis is a hybrid training. Zoom information for the virtual option will be emailed in confirmation email upon registering.---------------------------------------------------------This session will be held in the Knauss Center for Business Education at the University of San Diego (USD). Please ensure you allow enough travel time to reach USD and an additional 15 minutes to arrive at The Brink. To arrive at the session on time, please follow the instructions below:1. In your GPS, please enter “West Parking Lot, USD, San Diego CA”2. Enter the West Parking Lot and find a parking space, noting your license plate number.3. Locate a pay station kiosk. Enter your license plate number, hours of your stay, and payment. The current rate is $3.00/hour. The pay stations accept coins, Visa, Mastercard, and debit cards. They do not accept cash or American Express.4. There is a free shuttle between the West Parking Lot and the Knauss School of Business every 5 to 7 minutes, otherwise it’s a straight uphill walk for about 10 minutes.5.
