Developing his craft through early gigs at John Lee Hooker’s Boom Boom Room and mentorship from Dr. Lonnie Smith, he blends traditional organ influences with a modern, rhythmic, and harmonically rich style. He tours internationally, leads his own groups, collaborates on projects such as Amendola vs. Blades and the Billy Martin & Wil Blades Duo, and teaches privately.

Zak Najor is a drummer with Grammy participation and is a founding member of The Greyboy Allstars as well as a tenured drummer for Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe.
