Participants will create games based on a common theme and chosen mechanics. A panel of industry professionals will review these games and decide the winners in different categories.
Make your own game and most importantly have fun!
The San Diego Game Jam is a weekend-long friendly competition in which teams of game developers create brand-new games based on a challenging theme. Technically, the team that creates the best game wins, but the real prize is the friends we make along the way.
Celebrate our local San Diego game development community! Connect with other game makers, meet new friends, share your ideas, and build your dream game 2 within a weekend.
Developers of all skill levels are welcome. Professionals, hobbyists, and even first-time devs should not miss this amazing opportunity to make games and connect with other game makers.
