Learn to sew your own tote !

In conjunction with the artist-fueled "Fall of Freedom" movement, Space 4 Art is pleased to offer this FREE class at the Sew Loka studio in the heart of Barrio Logan. Slow fashion is activism, and sewing is a skill anyone can learn. In this class, you will learn the art of using recycled and reclaimed fabrics to create a one-of-a-kind tote and the basics of using a sewing machine. RSVP required; limited space available.

You will learn:

• How to thread a sewing machine and wind a bobbin
• Basic sewing machine stitches and their functions
• How to cut and sew fabric using a pattern
• Basic tote bag construction
