Join us for an hour of education, warm conversation, and compassionate support designed for you and your baby’s feeding journey. This group offers both professional lactation guidance and meaningful peer connection during the postpartum period.What we offer:• Weighted feeds to measure milk transfer• Latch and positioning support• Temporary pain relief and comfort techniques• Guidance on how much your baby needs based on their unique weight and age• Evidence-based breastfeeding and milk supply education• Supportive peer-to-peer conversation• Open Q&A — bring your feeding questions!Please note:Brief guidance on pumping and bottle-feeding technique may be offered; however, a full private consultation is recommended for in-depth support with topics such as bottle refusal, flange fitting, and complex feeding challenges.Attendance:Due to limited space, this group is currently limited to the nursing parent and baby dyad only. Please bring your breastfeeding pillow and any feeding supplies or supplementation you are currently using.Registration:This is a free support group; however, registration is required to ensure the group leader is present and prepared for attendees. Registration closes at 8:00 PM the night before each event. If you would like to attend and registration for a particular date has closed, please contact Valori at the San Diego Breastfeeding Center at 619-724-4117 as soon as possible.Directions & ParkingThis space is graciously hosted by Align SD, whose support helps make this support group possible.Align SD2525 Camino del Rio South, Suite 300San Diego, CA 92108For stroller access, please drive past the main entrance of the building and park at the far end of the building on the right. Enter the building and proceed down the hall — elevators will be on your right. Take the elevator to the third floor. We are the first door on the right after exiting.
