Initial Counseling (IC) - MCRD SD/WRR

Initial Counseling (IC) must be completed NET 18 months from EAS and NLT 12
months from EAS. Please ensure all required documents listed on the initial counseling checklist are completed prior to your appointment.

Anyone arriving without their pre-work (either electronic or paper copy) will be turned away and asked to reschedule.

All service members must complete the Individual Transition Plan (ITP)/Self-Assessment NAVMC 17031. If you are unable to access this document on our website, please email our office to request a copy.

To ensure a smooth appointment, please email your pre-work documents prior to your scheduled appointment. If that is not possible, bring paper copies with you. Those without pre-work (either electronic or paper copy) will be turned away and asked to reschedule.

ADSEP, MEDSEP, or 90-day EAS may complete their initial counseling
appointment as a "walk-in" on MCRD SD, BLDG 14, Mon or Fri between 0900-
1300, or please reach out to TRP staff.

You are required to have all IC pre-work documents completed and in hand prior to speaking with an advisor. Please see your Unit Transition Coordinator (UTC) for a list of pre-work requirements.
