This December, our Chesterton neighborhood is coming together to host a grassroots free holiday toy swap for local military families, a simple, community-led way to share gently used or like new toys, books, and games so every child can experience a little extra holiday joy.
Come out, bring your neighbors, and enjoy some free hot cocoa as well! (ID check required)
🗓 When: Saturday, December 13th at 11:00 a.m.
📍 Where: Manson Field, Chesterton Military Housing
We are accepting toy drop-offs ahead of time. Message an admin for drop-off locations or to volunteer! Community support is welcome! Donation cut off: December 10th.
Items accepted: Gently new or used toys, books, puzzles, board games, dress-up clothes, outdoor toys, and baby/toddler gear.
Not accepted: Stuffed animals, car seats and anything recalled or unsafe.
Neighbors helping neighbors, spreading joy, not waste. 💫
