We're excited to celebrate the beginning of Youth Sessions Season 11 with a day of movement, creativity, and community.This event is designed to introduce families to our program while giving youth the opportunity to experience the positive side of hip-hop culture through breaking, graffiti art, music, and creative expression.Event Schedule9:30 AM – Registration OpensPlease check in at our registration table upon arrival. Families will also be able to register for Season 11 throughout the event.10:00 AM – Welcome & Family MeetingAll families will gather inside the studio for introductions, a brief overview of the day, and program expectations.10:30 AM – Activity Session 1Ages 7–10: Community Graffiti Mural (outdoors)Ages 11–14: Breaking Workshop (inside the studio)11:15 AM – Activity Session 2Groups will rotate so every participant experiences both the breaking workshop and the community mural.12:00 PM – Snack BreakEveryone will come back together to enjoy snacks and spend time with one another.12:15 PM – Community Closing ActivityWe'll end the day with one final group activity that brings students and families together as we officially launch Season 11.Community Block ActivationOur studio is more than a place to dance, it's at the center community art disctrict. Throughout the event you'll find local vendors, art murals,  small businesses, and community organizations Families are encouraged to explore the neighborhood, visit our community partners, and enjoy the outdoor activations while students participate in the studio for scheduled programming.Parent ParticipationParents and guardians are asked to be present for:9:30–10:00 AM for registration and our family welcome.12:00 PM–1:00 PM for snacks, our closing activity, and end-of-day announcements.We look forward to celebrating with your family and welcoming everyone into another incredible Youth Sessions season!
