Join in a criticism-free environment, meet new people, gain a sense of belonging, have a chance to get off technology, play with paint, destress, and leave with a fun new painting. We will all meet at the venue called ArtReach in Hillcrest San Diego, starting at 6:30pm on Friday, December 11th. At 6:30pm sharp, I will start by welcoming everyone and talking about the nonprofit. Then I will guide you through a stress-free tutorial on ways to get playful with the paint. You'll then have an hour to be creative and colorful on your canvas using unconventional painting tools. After that we'll all help clean up and you'll put your painting in a gift box to get it home safely. All of the painting supplies, snacks, and non-alcoholic drinks are provided at no cost to you. Healing Through Artplay only provides alcohol-free and drug-free events. You will need to arrive sober, or you will be asked to come to another event when you are fully present of mind.
