After spending six months attending women’s song circles to overcome her fear of public singing in 2021, she was inspired to create her own song circles, inspiring other women to find their voices. Since then, she has been invited to sing and lead meditation events at various yoga studios across San Diego.Sanjana is passionate about sharing the wisdom of Indian spiritual philosophy and creating safe spaces for women to sing and express themselves fully.What is the inspiration behind the event?Singing has the power to transform not only our hearts but also our outer lives.Sanjana's greatest joy is gathering with women to sing, finding peace and harmony in their hearts. Sri Chinmoy, Sanjana's spiritual teacher, always encouraged his students to sing in community as a way of experiencing joy, delight, and oneness.Why is this event free?During his lifetime, Sri Chinmoy held over 700 free peace concerts around the world, reaching more than 1 million people. All of his meditation and music offerings were provided at no cost because he believed that spirituality should be accessible to everyone. He encouraged his students to offer spiritual services to their communities for free.Sanjana is deeply inspired by his teaching and the songs he has written. She is excited to bring women together to sing and find community ?
