This in-person fundraising event is a fantastic opportunity to connect with others in the community who are passionate about finding a cure for this debilitating autoimmune disease. Also included are inspiring speakers light refreshments fun festivities and a Kids Zone. All are welcome. Of special note -- 100% of all donations goes to support lupus research programs because the Lupus Research Alliance Board of Directors funds all administrative and fundraising costs.

Lupus is a chronic and complex autoimmune disease that affects millions of people worldwide. Four out of five people with lupus are women and the disease disproportionately affects women of color. In lupus the immune system which is designed to protect against infection produces autoantibodies that mistake the body’s own cells as foreign causing other immune cells to attack organs such as the kidneys brain heart lungs and skin as well as blood and joints.
