Led by board-certified dance/movement therapist and licensed counselor, Nathaniel Silveira-Pyzik.Participants will learn a movement warm-up guided by the instuctor to help them connect with their body and find movement resources for energy modulation and self-exploration. The instructor will demonstrate how basic dance and movement qualities can help people express themsleves, explore feelings, and release stress or emotions that are held in the body. Participants will be encouraged to explore their own movement resources and self-care strategies using movement and/or dance. The facilitator may offer music, guided imagery, and movement prompts to help participants explore.
