EpiBiologics has developed novel bispecific antibodies (EpiTACs) to drive tissue-selective degradation of membrane and soluble proteins, including GPCRs.The platform encompasses three mechanistically distinct strategies: proteasomal degradation mediated by cell-surface ubiquitin ligases (AbTACs), lysosomal degradation via cytokine or chemokine receptor-mediated internalization (KineTACs), and lysosomal degradation through tissue-enriched internalizing receptors (TrainTACs). Together, these approaches enable flexible and context-dependent targeting of extracellular or membrane proteins. The lead program, EPI-326, is a TrainTAC designed to target wild-type and mutant EGFR-driven cancers in a mutation-agnostic manner.
