In 2010 Brett joined the City of Bryan Engineering staff to handle floodplain management, development coordination and capital project management. In 2014, Brett accepted a project management position with the Texas A&M University System Facilities Planning and Construction group. Brett lives with his wife Carolyn on a ranch in north Brazos County, with an unknown number of dogs, cats, ducks, geese, chickens and peacocks.
