A graduate of the University of Texas with a degree in English literature she has published poetry and commentary in The Carmelite Digest, Spiritual Life Magazine, Presence Magazine for Spiritual Directors, Sacred Journey Magazine, as well as Theology Today.Deborah is the founding director of The Center for Spiritual Growth and the Contemplative Life (1994-2016) and continues to serve the San Antonio Area as a teacher, retreat leader and spiritual Director.
