Wilderness Survival At The Park Make-Up Navigation/Communication Class - **Event Start and End Date**: Thu, 23 Apr, 2026 at 01:00 pm – Thu, 23 Apr, 2026 at 03:00 pm (-06:00) - **Event Description**: This class is a make-up class. Because I was so sick and had to cancel, we are going to do the Navigation/Communication lesson. If you can't make it to this class, I'll still have your kiddo's supplies and will bring it to the next regular scheduled class on April 30th. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU CAN'T MAKE IT!Registration is closed for this class, until it starts over again in August.This class is once a month on a Thursdays from 1:00pm-3:00pm all school year long. It's for girls and boys of all ages 3 and up! The Class List with names/genders/ages of students registered up for these classes are found at the bottom of the event's description.Do you love to camp? Are you interested in learning how to survive in the wilderness? This class is broken into 9 lessons: Shelter Fire Water Food First Aid Weather Navigation/Communication Safety & a Wilderness Campout!...You'll also have a complete Bug-Out-Bag (BOB) full of emergency supplies to keep one alive for 72 hours.All supplies are included in the cost of the class except the campsite rental & park fee when we go camping. One can only attend the campout if they've collected the complete bugout bag supplies for all of the lessons. The campout will be in the beginning of May 2026.You will also earn a pin for your backpack for every class you attend. If you would like to learn how to survive many situations join us in the fun!
