Dr. W. Raymond Bryant, Sr. is the Presiding Elder of the San Antonio District of the Southwest Texas Conference of the African Methodist Episcopal Church, a role he has held since 2017. A devoted pastor, teacher, and advocate for holistic health, he encourages a daily spiritual walk rooted in prayer, education, and community service.Dr. Bryant is a national leader in faith-based health and wellness initiatives and currently leads the San Antonio Million Garden Project, promoting food justice through organic community and home gardens. He also serves as the education coordinator for the AME Gardening Project, a global initiative of the AME International Health Ministry.He holds a Doctor of Ministry and a Master of Divinity from Houston Graduate School of Theology. Dr. Bryant and his wife, Rev.
