# Event Details - **Event Name**: DreamWeek 2026 Generations Over Dinner - **Event Start and End Date**: Thu, 22 Jan, 2026 at 06:00 pm – Thu, 22 Jan, 2026 at 08:00 pm - **Event Description**: Special community dinner experience where everyone is seen, heard, and appreciated across generations.About this EventGenerations Over Dinner transforms the simple act of sharing a meal into a catalyst for profound social change. This innovative initiative brings together people across age groups – from teenagers (12+) to centenarians – around carefully curated dinner conversations that bridge generational divides and combat the epidemic of social isolation devastating our communities. These dinners create opportunities to challenge age-related stereotypes and cultivate mutual respect. At this event, participants engage in guided dialogues about life experiences, values, dreams, and challenges. Through the universal language of storytelling over food, strangers become neighbors, assumptions transform into understanding, and individuals discover vibrant community connections that extend far beyond the dinner table.Seating is limited to a first come basis for each age group/generation. We encourage family pairs to sign-up. (ex: grandmother + grandchild OR father + son). Only 32 seats available total. Once a generation is full, we will start a WAITLIST. There will be more Generations dinners later in 2026.After registering, we will email you with CONFIRMATION of your seat at the table.Hosted by Successfully Aging and Living in San Antonio (SALSA) - https:/saafdn.org/salsaan initiative of the San Antonio Area Foundation.Through initiatives like Generations Over Dinner, SALSA promotes connection via education, volunteerism, training, and social engagement. By hosting quarterly dinners and training community facilitators to organize their own events, SALSA is helping to build stronger, more connected communities – bringing together the young, the old, and everyone in between.Testimonial“I had such a lovely time sitting at a dinner table with guests of various ages from Gen Zto Baby Boomers. Together we learned that we had a lot more in common than any of usexpected to. As we ate, we shared stories and memories of our lives. We shared laughs andtears in a space that felt safe and warm.” —Janice, age 24, Gen Z https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events10/banners/e4c13bb0-b3ef-11f0-8800-73943a58c1b1-rimg-w1200-h480-dc000000-gmir.png https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events4/banners/e57374b0-b3ef-11f0-bc3b-55cfec1e4694-rimg-w777-h740-dcffffff-gmir.jpg - **Event URL**: https://allevents.in/san-antonio/dreamweek-2026-generations-over-dinner/100001839739974789 - **Event Categories**: dance, entertainment, workshops, contests, storytelling - **Interested Audience**: - total_interested_count: 1 ## Ticket Details - **Ticket Price Range**: min: 0, max: 0, currency: USD ## Event venue details - **city**: San Antonio - **state**: TX - **country**: United States - **location**: 155 Concord Plaza Dr - **lat**: 29.5047445 - **long**: -98.4810914 - **full address**: 155 Concord Plaza Dr, 155 Concord Plaza Drive, San Antonio, United States ## Event gallery - **Alt text**: DreamWeek 2026 Generations Over Dinner - **Image URL**: https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events7/banners/849aa02a361aba17f7ea8c3f0dc24786fecec8901b7dfb0b4829035f2c2f6766-rimg-w1200-h800-dcc7c2be-gmir.jpg?v=1761650346 ## FAQs - **Q**: When and where is DreamWeek 2026 Generations Over Dinner being held? - **A:** DreamWeek 2026 Generations Over Dinner takes place on Thu, 22 Jan, 2026 at 06:00 pm to Thu, 22 Jan, 2026 at 08:00 pm at 155 Concord Plaza Dr, 155 Concord Plaza Drive, San Antonio, United States. - **Q**: Who is organizing DreamWeek 2026 Generations Over Dinner? - **A:** DreamWeek 2026 Generations Over Dinner is organized by Jane Paccione, Managing Director. - **Q**: Who is this event for?
