He subsequently pursued a General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New YorkHe received his Prosthodontics residency training from the University of Texas, Health Science Center at Houston, School of Dentistry.Upon completion of his residency, he served in the United States Air Force as an active-duty Prosthodontist at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. He was also appointed Assistant Professor in the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. Dr. Díaz-Arana received fellowship training in Oral Oncology and Maxillofacial Prosthodontics at the prestigious M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.He is passionate about education. So much so that he was a  professor at UT Health San Antonio during his transition into private practice. He truly enjoys every opportunity he is provided to present and lecture for local CE, lectures, and in the San Antonio Community.Our patients connect with him because he is a compassionate provider. He provides the utmost comprehensive care by looking at every aspect of the treatment and designing treatment plans that address everything.  His network of other Dental Specialists and Dentists in the community is significant. He coordinates care with these Providers for his patients to achieve the best outcome possible.Dr. Díaz-Arana resides in Boerne and he is married to his charming wife, Gabriella. When he is not treating patients, volunteering, and educating our dental community, he enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, traveling, and the outdoors."
