Difficulty: Easy to Moderate, ~1.2 miles
Hike along the Red Dam with Ranger Kennie and hunt for scorpion along the trail. Learn what makes these creatures unique and found under black light. Black lights are provided for use.

* This is an after- hours program. Reserve your day pass online ahead of time ( https://texasstateparks.reserveamerica.com/camping/san-angelo-state-park/r/deDetails.do?contractCode=TX&amp;parkId=1200026 ) or stop by the self-pay station at the entrance of the park. Permits are required while inside the park. 

Entrance fees for the park:
$4 for adults 13 &amp; up.
Free for children 12 &amp; under.
Free for Texas State Park Pass holders.
