She began teaching Movement for Actors at the Stage Group Theatre School under the direction of Wendell Phillips where she had completed a full-time acting program and was an acting member of the ensemble company for 10 years. She was a founding member of the Phoenix Theatre performing in plays and teaching similar bodywork inspired acting classes. It was there she began directing and continues to direct plays. She taught acting classes at the Academy of Art University for twelve years and has been teaching and directing plays at the Shelton Theater over the course of several decades.
